Our material of choice is ceramic, for its solidity, natural aesthetics and nobility.
Our timeless range of ceramics is made in Spain. They are 100% natural, release no harmful substances into the environment and are fully recyclable. What also sets our Spanish ceramics apart is their resistance to chemicals, scratches* and wear. They remain intact with their original appearance even after many years of intensive use.
Manufactured at over 1200°C, our ceramics are also resistant to high temperatures and easily withstand contact with other heat sources without warping or deteriorating.
ECO-DESIGN
We attach great importance to eco-design and the fight against waste. That's why our dining tables are cut to the same size as our ceramic plates, to optimize their use as much as possible. Each ceramic scrap is recycled to make another Akante product, thus limiting our waste and actively helping protect our environment.
RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Our steel frames are powder-coated.
Powder coating is a “dry” spraying technique that uses no solvents harmful to people or the environment.
This technique complies with European REACH regulations, which control the use of chemicals in industry.
